"Starting with the idea that new, undiscovered music is like some rare animal,  the design is built around a tropical plant visual, created by young painter Eleriin Ello. Somewhat unexpected pink color and distinctive typography complete the identity, which was applied to a wide range of materials."
AKU is a design agency based in Tallinn, Estonia. They develop strategies, create concepts and implement solutions across different media. Their main areas of expertise lay in branding, packaging and designed environments.
Starting with a simple “why?”, the work process always involves both research and intuition, aiming to provide meaningful, honest and surprising ways to solve the task. At AKU, they always encourage close, trustful relationships that are achieved through direct communication between the designer and client.

PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN
Hi Everyone!
So this is it - we’re down to the final 3 days in our crowd funding campaign to get issue one into the real world and we’re still a very long way off our target. That’s not to say we can’t still achieve our goal. The online creative community is one which has proven itself time and time again to be a generous and determined advocate for the arts both on and offline.
Tumblr is where ‘a secret' started and I am so grateful for every single follower and for all the support and enthusiasm over the past couple of years.
I really feel it’s time to take this project one step further and that’s what this printed zine is about; it’s about manifesting this blog into a real life art object that will present and promote work in a way that is unique and hopefully become something that is really beautiful and also intriguing. I hope this project will continue to grow and become a fully fledged organisation that endeavors to promote art and artists - this is not a business plan this is a labour of love and all money raised from the magazine will go towards making sure we can do more issues, more exhibitions, more events, more everything.
At the moment I am one lady trying my best to make this thing happen but I do need some help. If everyone who saw this post went and donated even €5 as soon as they’ve seen it I’ve no doubt we’d reach our target by the end of the day.
I do understand I’m asking a lot for you to part with your hard earned cash but I promise I can deliver a product that is worthy of your support and trust and if you can’t support the project financially I would also be extremely grateful to anybody who is able to help promote the campaign online over it’s final few days.
Please reblog / share / tweet / blog / shout about this - I know with some help we can make this project a reality.
Thank you!

ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: Aoife O’Dwyer
I am an artist who lives in the Irish almost-countryside with my lady fiancée and squishy Staffordshire Bull Terrier who regularly tends to persistent inclinations towards photography, digital media, design and installation.
At the core of my creative practice is an obsession with perception.  Self-perception, sensory perception, identity and experience all play a vital role in what motivates me artistically.
Body autonomy and body image are also key areas of exploration in my work as well as questioning the way the female body and image is both portrayed and consumed – particularly in digital and virtual settings. I am also a member of the Bunny Collective and founder of A Secret Magazine.

Hi Everyone!

Our Fund it campaign is now live! While we are making final decisions about what work to feature in the first issue we really need your help to raise the funds needed to get the magazine into print. We’re also hoping to be able to produce an exhibition and official launch for the first issue.

Please check out our rewards on the campaign over on Fund it and please support it if you can.

We would also really appreciate if you could help spread the word by sharing / reblogging / tweeting etc about the campaign.

Thank you for supporting this blog over the last couple of years we really want to make the first issue a glorious printed wonder for you all.

- Aoife xo

I need some moneys to get my magazine printed. It’s gonna feature lots of amazing photography from lots of sooper talented folks as well as anonymously submitted secrets and it’s gonna have an official launch and exhibition too if I reach my goal.

If you got some moneys or some social media networks please support my Fund it campaign by choosing one of my wonderous rewards or by spreading the word.
